Areas of Service
We begin with a comprehensive school analysis study to uncover the unique strengths and weaknesses of your school and teaching staff. Through this process, we help our clients meet AYP in math and reading, while experiencing improvements in special education, and in the area of English language learning (ELL).
Based on your input, we develop a customized plan for your school that is focused on six key areas:
School Leadership
We interview key personnel from each department and provide you with a comprehensive system-wide audit assessment and analysis. The results become the foundation used to develop your customized school plan.
You will receive reports assessing school progress throughout the school year. Classroom visits will be ongoing and Bilinsky Inc. team members will assist administrators in conducting data conferences with teachers.
Standards-Based Education
Having a straightforward road map that links state learning expectations to learning materials and other resources is critical to establishing expectations for instruction and assessment.
We help you align what the teachers are teaching in the classroom to standards based curriculum. We assist your staff in preparing for the implementation of the Common Core State Standards and/or the Federal “Race to the Top” initiative.
Professional Development
Our team of coaches delivers on-site professional development and training with teachers during articulation and professional development days.
All professional development and teacher collaboration will be coordinated and supervised by Bilinsky Inc. representatives on campus. We help teachers move beyond the curriculum and toward effectively managing behaviors in learning.
Assessment
We set up grade level/department instructional cycles that help teachers create formative assessments in the areas of language arts and mathematics. We then help teachers analyze both formative and summative assessments and system data personnel to customize a data management system, which can be accessed by both teachers and administrators.
School Progress
We identify the key components of your existing design, paying close attention to what is currently working—and why.
Then we also look at your school’s academic and financial plan to identify any areas of potential risk and collect quarterly assessments and teacher feedback to establish progress benchmarks.
Using the school audit report and recommendations, we gauge the effectiveness of teaching strategies, and make revisions as needed.
Parent Engagement
Parental involvement is a key to learning success. That’s why we provide a parent engagement component to every plan we produce.
Parents are included in all communication about the school’s restructuring plan, and they are provided with opportunities to see the connection between their involvement and the academic success of their child. We encourage parents to become emissaries for the school in the community, and provide them with effective ways of sharing school news with their friends and family.
